Come together as a team. Run a quarter defense. This means 3 down lineman, and 8 db's. None of the other defenses will work. This way, if the other team tries to run, they cant run up the middle because Suh will be there, and they run off tackle because Fairley will be there and same for the other side with Idonje.
If they try to pass, they won't know what to do. There will be no open wide receivers, have some playing zone and the others playing man. Switch it up. Run constant stunts to stop the run. Then, if they pass, they will be in trouble.
On offense, put calvin Johnson to a different spot instead of at 1 receiver, what im trying to say is, line him up on different sides of the line. This way he can create mismatches by going against the other teams 2 and 3 and sometimes 4th string cornerbacks.

Put three men at the top playing man to man, and two forwards on the bottom to get the rebound

Use the other receivers to take pressure off of Calvin Johnson. Use Calvin Johnson as a decoy for some of the game. Then, later on, hit him. Play action, play action, play action.
Hit Reggie Bush, keep another back with him in the backfield. Run three receiver sets with Bush and another running back back there to block. This should free up Stafford to run. If he uses his legs, he can create for the offense. Then, this will open up the run. Then, play action all day, especially with the two running backs back there.

Play the Timberwolves man to man, post-up as much as you can, isolate, draw the double team only downlow and kick it out for open shots..not too many 3's this game unless you can get Bynum or whoever is point guard to penetrate..big men on the Timberwolves are weak..so take advantage.
